My favorite time of year. Christmas time. This year is extra special because I have a little family. Bring on the family photos and Christmas card.

Family Photo Tips
What To Wear:
I am here for all the plaid and checkered baby. To be honest I was little nervous on how the checkered and plaid would go together, but I must say we killed it. It was all tied in nicely. We looked and felt our best from suspenders to high heels.
Our daughter wore a dress that belonged to me when I was a baby. As you can see on the photos, the piece that was once a dress on me is now a shirt on her. I am glad she was able to wear though, it was a special way of sharing a memory. She even wore my shoes. If at all possible, bring out those old baby clothes you or your partner wore!
How To Find A Photographer:
Instagram. Yep, hashtags actually work. Britt from Snap Therapy has been my photographer for several months for now. I found her through a friend who posted an amazing set of maternity photos. I quickly went to see who took the photos by clicking on the tag. I was then led to @snaptherapy, where I fell even more in love. I chose Snap Therapy because each photo showed life. No dullness. Nothing but real and raw.

If you are in the DMV I highly recommend Snap Therapy. Not in the DMV? Go straight to Instagram. Every time I’ve been in need of a photographer, Instgram has hooked me up!
